Annabelle Gurwitch

Annabelle Gurwitch (born April 14 1970) is an American writer, comedic actress as well as a host on TV. Her most well-known job was that of hostess on Dinner and a Movie. In addition, she is a passionate interest in environmental causes and humanism. Annabelle Gurwitch was a critically-acclaimed actress and New York Times Bestseller Author. She penned her memoirs You Didn't Say Tomato but I said Shut Up! which was in turn a Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch hosted Dinner & a Movie on TBS for many years. Television viewers will remember her appearances in programs like Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown as well as WA$TED, a sustainability show that was telecast by The Planet Green Network. Her regular TV appearances are on PBS Newhour Real Time Bill Maher as well as NPR. Additionally, she writes op eds which appear in the New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter satires as well for The New Yorker & McSweeneys.
